super-charged G40 is a real screamer. Combine its 113 bhp and 0-60 in 8.1 secs
with some nice rims, race cams and a bodykit and you produce one hell of a

-The
first, and probably still the most fun, hot hatch. Its 120 bhp and 0-60 in 8.5
secs may look slow compared to newer hot hatches but for sheer fun this is the
king. Just like the Nova there is more products available for this than most

GTI 1.8 16v -This second installment proved quicker than its older
brother. Giving 139 bhp it goes from 0-60 in 7.9 secs. Just as with the first
one, tons of kit is available meaning this is a car loved by

GTI keeps up the series name. Its 150 bhp gives 8.7 secs 0-60. Its styling is
more chunky than that of the Mk2 and loads of kit is available to create more

GTI 20v Turbo 1.8-With 150
bhp and a turbo this Golf gives a nice 150 bhp. Going from 0-60 in 8.5 secs it
keeps the GTI name alive, and with more boost and a few other choice mods power

powerhouse Golf. The 3.2 litres in this car gives twice the power but also twice
the weight of the very first GTI. Its huge engine delivers 240 bhp and a very
quick 0-60 of 6.4 secs. This combined with terrific handling means its staking a
claim for new hot hatch king. Corrado
G60 1.8 -Super-charged Corrado not only looks good but delivers
160 bhp. Top handling combined with a 0-60 of 7.2 secs means it is car that's
ripe for tweaking. Corrado
VR6 2.9 -2.9 litres powers this 190 bhp monster from 0-60 in just
6.7 secs. With this power and top looks it's a pukka car if you can get hold of
