Like all good tuning and retail companies Mad Motors is creating a project car. The base car is a Honda Civic 92-95 model and the main aim is to create the fastest honda in the U.K.

Stage 1

Our aim is to match or even succeed the fastest Honda's currently gracing the U.S and Japan scene. In the U.S, a street legal 1993 Honda Civic 3dr hatch is currently producing over 600bhp with a 0-60 of sub four secs. This huge power is created by using a transplanted B18C5 (Integra Type-R) engine, combined with a massive turbo running through a custom exhaust system. In Japan, Blitz have used similar techniques to create their 550bhp 96-00 model Civic 3dr hatch (as seen in Max Power video 'Beasts from the East'). The car is using a transplanted 1.8L engine combined with strengthened internals and a KKK turbo.

The first stage in our project will be the stripping down of our Civic. All the excess weight will be removed, apart from the dash and the front seats to begin with. Each month this page will be updated with text and photos to bring you the very latest on our project and by calling into our store you can see the project first hand in our tuning center.
